Albany fishing trip!

During our January 2010 holiday the boys and I went fishing with great success. Christoff caught the largest Skippy for the day, but we all had a great time. The catch consisted of mainly Herring and Skippy with one Bream caught by Henry.

To get to our fishing spot we were bogged down in the sand 3 times and needed towing on two occasions. Trying to dig the vehicle free resulted in Karel being very dirty and it is evident from the photo taken after we arrived back home.

Everybody enjoyed it a lot and the next trip will be a salmon fishing trip.

Dit was -of is steeds- al die derde Kersfees in Australia! Ons het Ou Kersaand mooi tafel gedek en lekker geeet. Die kinders was erg opgewonde oor die geskenke onder ons wit kersboom. Dit was nogal n storie om darem sekere geheime te hou.

Carina wou bitter graag n lewensgrootte teddie he en dit was haar hoogtepunt!
Christoff is steeds erg oor balle en het sy nuwe sokkerbal saamgevat kerk toe.
Karel is ons Lego-man. Hy het sy "Space Police" en "Star Wars" lego gisteraand begin bou en is nogsteeds besig.

Vandag is Kersfees en n lekker warm dag soos ons gewoond is.

Basketball was the highlight for 2009.

Christoff enjoyed every moment and gave his all every game.

On 10 December 2009 his team played in the basketball grand final and after a nail biting 4 courters they won 38/29.

Christoff was awarded the best and fairest player of the game and his teammate, Boyd was awarded the best and fairest player for the season.

Geraldton, WA hosted the 2009 CLOUGH Cup tennis tournament and the Cronje family was there to support Christoff, our star player.

He played for the Great Southern B team and they had mixed results.

The competition were stiff and many matches were lost due to lack of experience or concentration. Boy did Christoff learn a lot in a few days. He eventually managed to use what he has learned and manged to win a match with his doubles partner. Everybody was very happy for them and at last there was something to celebrate.

Start a hobby; built a helicopter and learn to fly!

I am still a beginner and as you can see my engine tuning needs a bit of work but hey, I am flying.
